The scuba diver tea infuser is a cool stylish way to infuse your next cup of tea. This diver sits inside your mug and is connected a counterweight (the air tank) that sits on the table.

Like most novelty tea infusers this is a great gift for any loose leaf tea lover. This diver is about 5.2 inches tall and about 2.2 inches wide. It will fit into almost any sized mug or tea pot but keep in mind you can probably only put a teaspoon of tea into it.

Using this infuser is dead simple and it is also super easy to remove from the water once you’re done infusing your tea.

  1. Firstly, open up the bottom of the diver (his feet).
  2. Put about 1 tsp of your favorite tea into the infuser.
  3. Close the bottom back up.
  4. Place into a mug with boiling water and allow the scuba diver to infuse your tea.
  5. You can remove the diver or leave it in while you drink. It comes with a drip tray if you want to remove it.

Tea Infuser Quality

Like most of these infusers this one is made mostly of silicon. The exception is the air tank where you will the base is made of a stainless steel. This is done so it can act as a counterweight for the infuser.

You’re able to quickly clean the scuba diver tea infuser by throwing it in the dishwasher. If you prefer you can still hand wash it.

If you’re a fan of teas that are very small, then you might want to skip on this one. You will find that the holes a little too big for some types of tea. This allows for the tea to escape into your mug which can be a bit of a pain as you will need to filter it again.

One of the best things about the deep tea diver infuser is that you’re able to easily remove it from the water.  You can just pull it out using the piece of silicon that is connected from the top of the diver to the air tank.
